Wren High School

Preparing Today for the Challenges of Tomorrow

Read! Bookshelf
The Wren High School Learning Commons strives to supplement and enhance the educational experiences which are the intended outcome of classroom activities. The Learning Commons is an extension of the classroom and is dedicated to providing all users with informational services to assist them in both in-school and out-of-school pursuits. The Learning Commons attempts to instill a love of reading in its users by providing a variety of materials to interest and appeal to all tastes.
Whether you have an assignment, research paper, or just need the answer to a question, the WHS Learning Commons is open from 7:30 am until 3:45 pm to help. The librarian can help you access a broad range of resources including the online catalog, various periodical and reference databases, online encyclopedias and dictionaries, and useful Internet websites. Please come by the Learning Commons or explore the online resources available through the Helpful Links menu on this website.
There is never a charge for borrowing items from the library, but there are late fees for overdue materials. Most books can be borrowed for two weeks. If you cannot find the material for which you are searching, please see the librarian. She may be able to help you borrow items from other Anderson District One school libraries or the Anderson County Library.
